Pricing

Where each price comes from

Subscription prices are regional and change often. These reflect US pricing as last checked; your App Store may differ.

AppWhat we stateBasisLast checked
Attune $14.99/mo · $89.99/yr · free attachment quiz, no trial Our own published pricing (this site & the App Store). Jul 2026
Olively $6.99/wk · $49.99/yr · limited free tier Olively's App Store listing (in-app subscriptions). Free to download with a limited free tier; full features are gated behind the subscription. A separate one-time "Pro" unlock is also listed. Jul 2026
Paired $14.99/mo · $39.99/yr · free tier + 7-day trial Paired's own Premium page and support docs; one subscription covers both partners. Some third-party sites list a higher yearly figure that appears to be older or regional. Jul 2026
Attached $12.99/mo · $99.99/yr · free week The app's website and App Store listing (publisher MWM); the free week doesn't charge a card until the trial ends. Jul 2026
Ember In-app subscription + pay-as-you-go talk-time; exact price not publicly confirmed Store listing and third-party reviews describe monthly & annual plans plus pay-as-you-go "Em" talk-time and a short trial; no exact figure is published on Ember's own site, so we don't state one. Jul 2026
Headspace $12.99/mo · $69.99/yr · free trial Headspace's own subscriptions page and App Store listing; student and family plans are also offered. Jul 2026
Waking Up $129.99/yr · long free trial · free year on request Waking Up's own site and App Store listing. The "free year for anyone who can't afford it" policy is stated publicly by the company. Jul 2026
Ahead ~$69.99/yr after a 7-day trial; monthly also offered App Store listing and third-party reviews; the trial converts to an annual plan. Stated as approximate because the figure isn't published as a fixed price on Ahead's own site. Jul 2026
Liven ~$34.99/mo; plans vary; "Livie" AI is an add-on Liven's own pricing page and App Store listing. Weekly and longer terms exist and pricing varies by plan and region, so we mark it approximate. Jul 2026
CoDA Free CoDA's public materials. Co-Dependents Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship, self-supporting through members' voluntary contributions; meetings and its app cost nothing. Jul 2026
ChatGPT Plus $20/mo (free tier available) OpenAI's public pricing page. Compared here only as a general assistant used for relationship advice, not an equivalent product. Jul 2026
Lucen Free to start; premium subscription (~$6.99/wk up to ~$49.99/yr) Lucen's App Store listing (in-app subscriptions) and premium page. Free to start with one analysis; premium unlocks unlimited analyses. Exact plan mix varies by region and device, so we mark it approximate. Jul 2026

Prices exclude taxes and any App Store family-sharing or promotional pricing. Always confirm on the app's live store listing before you buy.

Notes on the comparison tables

Several attachment apps offer a version of "rewrite what I want to say" and "tell me what they meant"—Olively describes both. We mark those apps "Yes." Where an app has neither, we mark "—". Attune's own tools are named Attune (tune a message to a partner's style) and Unpack (read the need underneath their text).

"Deep" means the app builds explicitly on Gottman Method constructs—the Four Horsemen and their antidotes, softened start-ups, repair attempts, and tracked relationship dimensions. "Attachment-focused" or "General courses" means an app centers attachment healing or broad relationship education without that specific Gottman scaffolding. This is our reading of each app's public description, not a claim about clinical efficacy.

This refers to Attune's optional Mac companion, which reads your Messages history locally, on your own machine, and turns it into month-by-month trends. We mark other apps "—" because we've found no public evidence they analyze your existing message history. If that's changed for any app, tell us and we'll update it.

Platform availability (iOS, Android, Mac) and free-tier / trial structure come from each app's current store listings. Attune is iPhone-first today with a Mac companion; an Android version isn't available yet. Where we say an app offers a "free trial," that reflects its listing at the last-checked date.

People weighing Attune often also consider apps that aren't attachment tools at all—meditation (Headspace, Waking Up), emotion regulation (Ahead), broad self-growth (Liven), or peer recovery (CoDA, a free 12-step fellowship). We compare against them because they come up in the same search, not because they do the same job. On those pages we try hard to name what each does better than Attune, and we treat a nonprofit fellowship like CoDA as exactly that—a free community resource, not a competitor to out-feature.
